Notes
I saw her and I had to paint her
for I gazed and was taken up in a dream
of vivid colors,
roselike petals
and dreamcatchers' feathers
-more detail than usual
to make sure this dream stays with me
till I'm ready to catch the wind
and the clouds form another dream

This is so stunning Jeanette. I love the detail and vivid colours, especially against the soft background.

Thank you Joanna, the vivid colors actually made it easier to make the flower stand apart:)

Leia,
Aah you are already on the computer...hopefully not feeling too bad? Thank you for your kind comments about the painting. Are you familiar with Georgia O'Keefe? (A female American painter who painted huge flowers) Often people think that my flower paintings are reminiscent of hers...
A fantastic flower rendering. Beautifully done.

Doowmee,
Thank you, friend for your compliment about the flower and introducing me to artquid!
I'll visit it after I come back from vacation (June 20), because now I still need to do a lot before I go coming Saturday (I'm going to paint on my vacation too). Thanks again!
