they seem to stand out this year.
Was it their knowledge about the stars?
Was it their passion?
Was it their sacrifice to travel so far?
Or was it their gifts?
It seemed so foolish to give the most
exquisite gifts to a baby in a barn.
Which brings me to conclude that
sometimes wisdom appears foolish
And it's foolish not to learn from that.
Notes
- focus on worshipful attitude of wiseman
-the wonder of Mary
- the star that brought the wisemen
to visit the stable
- display of their knowledge about the universe
- purple robe...color of kings

Very nice painting. I especially like the way you put the prose (poetry) along with it. Thanks for sharing the beauty.
Interesting to get to see your work "in progress" first and then finished! I love the colours in this painting.
Wonderfully shown, and wonderfully said.
Midwest,
thank you! It is these questions and wonderings I have about the subject that puts my brush in motion:)
You have shown and described Spain at your blog, but what are your feelings overall about it?
If you like to write me on my email, her it is

Monika,
Thanks, dear friend. Ultramarine blue is one of my favorite colors.
As must be very clear to you, my understanding of colors, values and strokes is much more developed than the technical sides of blogging (smile)
Clytie,
Thank you, I take that as a compliment from someone who looks with an artist's eye!
I popped over here to get a better view..

Now isn't that just like a Muse?
I am so happy I did ~ what a joy...such beauty!
Yes, it is like the Muse:) thank you! Did you read about the purses (I should have written you in an email, that would have been easier LOL)
